This painting marks a milestone in my investment banking career. Over the last 20 years I have witnessed and survived many upheavals on the trading floor.  As the title suggests, against the backdrop of the hustle and bustle of the world’s leading financial centre finds a peaceful Mudchute farm in Isle of Dogs. Here a sow is luxuriating in a bonding moment with her baby, oblivious of what’s going on around them. In the forefront we see a Crossrail train scheduled to run through Canary Wharf in 2018. It marks a new era of hope, possibilities and excitement whilst maintaining the equilibrium of a balanced city lifestyle.
